What is MythFall?

What if you told a lie that changed the course of history for thousands of years? MythFall is the story of such a lie and how it eventually came crumbling down.

The year is 2150. Alien Diplomat Malkan Terasmus is responsible for keeping the peace on a backwater planet. His job became much harder after the Zymeran princess went missing on his watch, and his bosses pulled his funding, hanging him out to dry. Malkan’s not about to give up on his planet, but unrest is growing and the force behind it is older—and more magical—than he expected. To have any hope of stopping it, he’ll need to confront the great lie his society was built on.

The Team is Fantastic!

I’m really excited about the team we assembled for the project. There were so many people who were vital to bringing this book to life and making it the best it can be. You can read about all of them below!

Attic Door Media’s secret weapon, Cici Affini has been a sci-fi and fantasy fan since she learned to read. She’s drawn to epics such as Lord of the Rings, Dune, and Sandman. After many years of developing Mythfall, she’s excited to launch her debut project. A copywriter by day, at night she’s an avid player of dungeons and dragons. You can also find her streaming cozy games on twitch.

 Allie Preswick is a Canadian illustrator with a love for drawing vibrant and expressive characters. She works on all kinds of projects, most recently creating art for games such as Marvel Champions: The Card Game. As a long-time sci-fi/fantasy and comic book fan, she is excited to enter the indie comic world with Mythfall. For more art, find her online @alliepreswick

Eren Angiolini is a comic colourist (Teen Justice, Justice League, Doctor Who, Critical Role & more) by day and fantasy illustrator by night with a passion for fantasy art and TTRPGs. When they’re not drawing or colouring, they hit people with swords. Check out their Patreon for TTRPG art called “ArtVenturing Guild.”

Haley Rose-Lyon is a middle school drama award winner, journalism degree holder, editor, and writer of many a thing, dog-mom, human-wife, and keenly devoted comics letterer. She’s lettered for Image Comics, Dead Reckoning, Legendary Comics, and a slew of lovely small-press publishers.

Barbara Perez Marquez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She now lives in the USA. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and writes short stories and fiction. She’s been an editor, translator, and even a sensitivity reader for several publications and projects and has been featured in a number of literary journals and anthologies.
